Anders Zorn was known for using a limited palette. Typically, a “Zorn” palette would consist of a white, a black, a red and a yellow. You will notice a blue is not included. Blue is obtained from the black which, when mixed with white, can produce a bluish hue especially when juxtaposed to other colors. In other words, it will seem to be blue.
